Shehnai is not just another boutique. The entire family become part of your wedding event needs. At one occasion where the groom jacket was not the color we expected, in a very short span without even us expecting, the family themselves took upon themselves, worked till ways beyond mid night to find the right fabric/color and got it tailored ways before time. Shehnai is not about making money and send you just out of the door, but they will be sure everything is about you and do all possible to make you happy. A great business with all about good ethics and customer satisfaction. They have great selections and awesome design choices to meet your needs. We got several men's and ladies' attires from them and enjoyed wearing them. A great value for your hard earn money. We want to thank entire family, especially Ajay and Amy plus the respective parents who worked hard and are a great family. I do not want to leave out Gurvinder who is extended part of Shehnai and a trooper and a magician. Thank you! all for your hard work, honesty, and service you extended. All my wedding looks came from Shehnai. I worked directly with Amy and she literally made my wedding complete by making my vision come to life. She not only dressed me but also dressed my husband's family. Coming into Shehnai, I already had a bad experience at another bay area bridal shop that wasn't size inclusive. Amy was extremely welcoming and worked with me to pick the best outfit for my wedding and reception. The quality was remarkable and the details on my main looks were beautiful. I really wanted something with beading vs just sequin or glitter and they delivered. I also purchased my wedding jewelry from here as well! On top of all this, our groomsmen's outfits from India came in the wrong shade, about 4 weeks from the wedding. I reached out to Amy and she worked with me to get 15 groomsmen outfits within 2 weeks. The service and speed she provided, others could not provide. This is a family business and they treat you like family. Everyone there is sweet and really wants you to walk out with something you'll like. I really value the time Amy spent with my family and made my overall experience amazing. Thank you Shehnai for making my wedding planning easier. I still shop at Shehnai and highly recommend it to all future brides and their families and friends.

I got married and starting hunting for my bridal lehenga. I pretty much went to every boutique in my local area that I could think of and even looked at ordering online from designers. I walked into Shehnai just by chance- not expecting much and was completely blown away by their bridal selection. A boutique so close to home having in style outfits????! No way!! Ajay and Amy were welcoming and extremely helpful. I fell in love with a lehenga the minute I walked in there. I visited the boutique many times before making my final choice (as I wanted to get my family and friends opinion). Once I selected the lehenga, Amy took over and made sure she got all the little details to make sure the lehenga was perfect. My fiancé also purchased his sherwani to go nicely with my outfit. We received our outfits well in advance to our wedding. We had a minor issue with my fiancés shawl but Amy took care of it immediately. Everything came out perfect, the color, the fit, everything! Their in house tailor is the best as well! I was having issues with one of the extra inner fabrics in my lehenga as I felt it was restricting me and three days before my wedding I called Ajay and he said no worries bring it in. Their tailor took a look, understood what I was saying and immediately came up with a solution and told me to wait 15mins. 15 mins later, my lehenga was perfect! I also purchased a few outfits from her and their tailor did such a great job making them fit perfectly. I highly recommend Shehnai!!

We got outfits for our wedding here. The quality of clothes is incredible. Their in-store seamstress is AMAZING as well. They were able to get our purchases tailored very quickly. They really care about their customers- evident by them staying after hours to make sure we had everything ready for our wedding.

This year I married my best friend the Indian way. I was new to the scene of Indian clothing and outfits for weddings as I am not Indian. I looked at multiple stores for the right outfit before arriving at Shehnai. Shehnai provided me a beautiful outfit and at a reasonable price (unlike some other stores). The Shehnai family was courteous and helpful as I explored multiple outfits until I reached the outfit that was calling my name! Everyone at the store was friendly, patient, and provided honest feedback. I would recommend them hands down for any Indian bridal/groom wear. This is coming from a guy that had no experience with indian outfits before hand

I married Punjabi man this past winter and I had to go with Shehnai for my bridal wear. Their workmanship and professionalism were amazing. I had beautiful custom lehengas made that awe'd everyone. Additionally my mom had her outfit made here as well. Highly recommend. The quality of the material was unbeatable. Very professional!

Getting ready to head to our first Indian wedding and definitely felt anxious about finding the appropriate wedding attire! The team at Shehnai was super helpful when it came to understanding the type of clothes and color schemes to wear at different points/events during the wedding. Ultimately, we decided to get kurta sets and the selection was great, with different colors and patterns. After browsing for about a 10-min, we tried a few on, settled on one, and then had our measurements taken so the pants and sleeves could be tailored. Super easy, super friendly experience. The price was also right. I would wholeheartedly recommend Shehnai to anyone who's looking for formal Indian wedding attire. I'll definitely be back if we ever need more.

I needed clothes for my Sangeet night last minute. Walked into their shop close to closing time. They were very patient and worked with me to find the perfect outfit. Their quality of clothes and service is amazing.

Great attention to every little detail! They really listen to what you want (color, style, etc). My husband and I were thrilled to see our visions complete on our wedding day. Shenhai is also very aware and careful about timelines so I didn't have to worry about not having time to make alterations (which I actually didn't need). Thanks for everything!

I shopped here last minute for a formal kurta for my friend’s wedding.

They have a very nice selection at a broad range of price points. All items have posted prices. The quality is high; and the materials are quite gentle in the skins. The kurtas were easy to get in and get out.

Everyone in the store was very helpful and friendly. There were no pushiness nor sale tactics. They even hemmed my pair of pajamas free of charge. But maybe for more complicated alterations, your mileage may vary.

Overall, I was very happy with the experience!

I had ordered a sherwani for my wedding from India but when it arrived it was way too small. Two months out I drove down the Shehnai to find something locally after hearing about it from a friend.

Overall the experience was terrific. I was able to call ahead and get a sameday appointment to look at some styles. They have a great selection with modern options, and the staff was helpful and patient with me throughout the process.

They even stayed late to hem the pants while we waited so we didn't need to make another trip down from SF. Great experience, highly recommend!
